FIFA, the champion

Advantage could be seen through the presentation of six finalists for ‘Idola Kecil’ competition reality show, by TV9, the ‘Idola Kecil’ 4 Final Concert held at the Dewan Sri Ptura Bukit Jalil, Kuala Lumpur, recently.

Looking at the presentation of the participants, we do not believe that on average they were children aged 11 and 12 years.

They were confident when appearing to perform on stage, to make it difficult for the jury to choose the best one among the best.

However, the jury of the night, Atilia(singer), Adnan Abu Hassan (composer) and Chief Executive Officer, Media Prima Radio Networks, Seelan Paul agreed and prefer FIFA or Sharifah Nurhafifa Wan Aziz, 12, from Shah Alam, Selangor as champions.

FIFA sang “Aku Permata” by Salma Mentor and new songs by Delly, “Cinta Sebelah Meja”, that managed her to take home cash of RM15, 000 and trophy.

According to this student (FIFA) from Sekolah Kebangsaan Jalan U3 Road, Subang Perdana, she did not expect to be selected as the winner.

“For FIFA, the opportunity to enter the final course is a good opportunity. To mention a champion who is beyond all expectations. This is all to inject the spirit of FIFA to continue active in the arts.

“Without the guidance of teacher Alfa Booty (composer), teacher Delly (vocals) and

Affizal teacher (dance), is not likely for FIFA to win. FIFA want to use the money for family expenses and for school expenses.

Meanwhile, Farisha Asmadi or Irish, 12, who has a voice like Shila Amzah said throughout the competition, she attempted to perform the best.

Said Irish, the main intention of entering the small instrumental competition is to be a champion, but she only managed a second place and take home a cash prize of RM10, 000 and trophy.

“Who does not want to be a champion, but Irish have to accept the decision of the jury. Irish rejoiced to FIFA. Although she only managed to get second spot, she’s happy she got the reward.

“I hope that i will get a chance to get more exposure to perform after this competition,” she said. Irish sang the song Patah Seribu (Shila Amzah) and a new track Apalah Erti Semua Ini,composed by Alfa Booty.

In the meantime, Abby or Nabihah Idrus, 12, from Malacca to earn RM5, 000 for third place winner in good faith, he felt thankful even in third place.

“I did not expect to get number three as Abby gave the best performance on that night. She performed the song by Alyah(Kisah Hati) and Dalam Laman Kalbu (Alfa Booty)

“Lose and win is the custom of the competition, whatever Abby  felt glad that she did not go home empty handed.”
